WIP....Finally!

This is my latest WIP. Last weekend my doll club hosted the very talented Barbara Schoenoff to teach her Morris doll. What a fun doll to make. Here he is in his early stages. I have more of his costume completed and will post updated pictures in a day or so. He is going to be a VERY colorful fellow as I dug through my stash to come up fabric for his costuming. I wanted to use up some of my massive stash, he will be wearing mostly Laurel Burch fabric as I adore her fabrics. They are getting scarce now that she has passed away. I heard she had 5 more years of prints designed, hope fully we will see some more soon. I should be finished with Morris after this weekend. Will post more pictures then!

Doll looks good so far! I thought I heard Laurel Burch died? Hmmm, maybe it was someone else. Otherwise how they be coming out with new fabric?

Just checked. Yes, she died in 2007. Someone else must be bringing out her fabric. Here is an obit:
