Wow what a summer I am having. It has been great!Went to a wonderful retreat at Threads Of time in Danville IL . It is so inspiring to get together with wonderful friends and work on what ever you want to work on and just chat away! What fun. Have also made a couple of trips to Nashville Indiana and visited some great shops and ate lunch at the Hob Knob. Also have been to Madison Indiana where Our doll club had a joint meeting with the River City Doll Club. We had great fellowship and shared our many creations. This is a yearly meeting that we all enjoy.
I have a few things to share today. First is a doll I made from a pattern by Barbara Schoenoff  called January Girl. She was a fun to make. Her head and arms and legs were Gessoed several times and then painted. Then a varnish was added to give the doll a porcelain look.

Next is a doll I made from a Sherry Goshon pattern. The pattern is called Jelly Bean a Confection fairy.
My doll decided she did not want to be a fairy but just a regular girl. What fun!!!
The last thing today is a penny rug I made just for fun. It is made from wool blend felt.
